Meg and Kevin were married in New Orleans on June 25th. This wedding was no small affair with over 300 family and friends in attendence. They took their vows in the Holy name of Jesus off St Charles and then were off to the Metairie Gulf and Country Club to celebrate. And celebrate they did! Complete with a live band that kept the crowd on their feet and not one but three beautiful cakes. Meg was celebrating her "30th" birthday at midnight. Second lines and glitter...yes New Orleans knows how to throw a party. I wish them both a lifetime of happiness together! All the best Meg and Kevin!

Vickie and Chris came up from Texas to Elope in our beautiful city. They came with close friends to enjoy a few days in Savannah. On the day of their marriage thehy were surprised by another pair of close frinds who flew up last minute. These are a couple shots of their historic carriage ride around Savannah. Margaret and Westley were married on January 2nd on a beautiful day during our deep freeze here in Savannah. Despite the cold it was a beautiful wedding with two very lovely people. The ceremony took place at their church in Rincon. The church was packed with all of their friends and family who came to witness this beautiful ceremony and celebrate with this wonderful couple. It was my honor and privilege to document a full honors ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery a couple weeks ago. This Air Force Col. was a highly decorated prisoner of war as well as one of the most beautiful people I ever had the privilege of knowing. I wanted to put it on my blog because he was to me like family, he has been in my life since I was about Six. I remember him as a kind and gentle presence with a cigar in his hand and a smile on his face and a wicked sense of humor. This is how I will remember him, with a smile on his face.

It was one year ago, June 21st that I had the pleasure of photographing this wonderful couple on their wedding day. Time flies!
Charla and Eric met with me last Sunday to do a quick shoot around town. These very talented artist will be leaving Savannah soon and starting a new chapter in their lives. I know they will be very successful and I wish them both every happiness and a long life together.
